Seacoast Capital invests growth capital in small companies led by strong, entrepreneurial management teams. We look for investment opportunities based upon the following criteria:

Management, Management, Management

Although we invest across a broad spectrum of industries, we consistently look to invest in companies with outstanding management teams who have proven track records and substantial equity stakes.

Market Leaders

We invest in companies which are leaders in their respective industries and possess defensible market positions. These companies may control the leading market share in their respective product or service niches or control geographic market leadership. They may have achieved this position through product or service innovations, by being the lowest cost producer or through brand awareness.

Proven Economics

Seacoast invests in companies that have demonstrated that their business model is viable. By viable, we mean that the business generates cash flow at the unit basis and that the economics are replicable. These companies generally have revenues of at least $10.0 million and $1.5 million of operating income.

Growth Opportunity

Seacoast looks to invest where its capital will be a catalyst for the next phase of growth. This growth may be in the form of acquisition opportunities, rollout of a proven concept or internal growth, but in all cases the growth is near term.
